A 23-year-old man was wounded in a shooting early Sunday in the South Side Gresham neighborhood.

About 2 a.m., the man was shot as he stood on a sidewalk in the 8500 block of South Aberdeen Street, Chicago Police said.

He was grazed in his back, and was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.

Area South detectives were investigating the shooting.
