A man was shot Saturday afternoon in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The man, 40, was shot in the right shoulder at 1:53 p.m. in the 5100 block of West Fulton, according to Chicago Police. He told investigators he heard shots and felt pain, but did not see the shooters.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
