A man was wounded in a shooting Friday afternoon in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

The 31-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the hand at 2:42 p.m. in the 900 block of East 63rd Street when someone inside a gray SUV fired shots as it drove by, according to Chicago Police.

He taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition, police said.
