Police are searching for a man who was reported missing from her assisted living facility Sunday morning in the Uptown neighborhood on the North Side.

Dionysus Ames, 48, walked away from Thresholds about 9 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of West Lawrence Avenue and did not return, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

He is described as a 6-foot, 150-pound black man with brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion, police said.
