Man shoots self in Gresham

A man shot himself Tuesday afternoon in the South Side Gresham neighborhood.

The 25-year-old suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the knee about 3:35 p.m. in the 7700 block of South Seeley, according to preliminary information from Chicago police. The circumstances of the shooting weren’t immediately known.

His condition was stabilized at the scene, police said.
