A man was critically wounded in a shooting Thursday morning in the South Side Chatham neighborhood.

The 24-year-old was shot multiple times during an argument with another person at 11:49 a.m. in the 8200 block of South Drexel, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in critical condition to University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.
