A man was shot and critically wounded Saturday night in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

At 7:42 p.m., the 20-year-old was in the 900 block of West 83rd Street when a dark-colored SUV pulled up and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police. The SUV then drove off in an unknown direction.

He suffered a gunshot wound to his head and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
