A man was shot Saturday evening in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 24-year-old was shot in the leg about 6:30 p.m. in the 4900 block of West Adams, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, but his condition was not immediately known, police said.

A police source said the man was not cooperating with investigators.
