Man shot in Austin

A man was shot early Tuesday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

At 2:17 a.m., the 18-year-old was walking in the 900 block of North Long when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the back and buttocks, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
