A man was shot late Saturday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 19-year-old was standing outside at 10:38 p.m. on the sidewalk in the 5000 block of West Huron when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.

He later showed up at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
