A man walked into a West Side hospital Wednesday morning after being shot in the Austin neighborhood.

The 34-year-old victim was shot in the right forearm in the 5800 block of West Roosevelt Road about 10:35 a.m., according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to Loretto Hospital at 645 S. Central Ave., where his condition was stabilized, police said.
