About 2:20 p.m., the 27-year-old was in the back yard of a apartment building in the 1800 block of West 48th Street when someone got out of a car, walked up to him and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the arm and foot, and another bullet grazed his chest. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition.

The shooter got back into the vehicle and sped off, police said. No one was in custody Sunday evening.
