Man shot in Back of the Yards

A man was shot Sunday evening in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

The 25-year-old was shot in the leg about 7:55 p.m. in the 1800 block of West 44th Street, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said. The man was not cooperating with investigators and additional details on the shooting were not available.
