Man shot in Back of the Yards

A man was wounded in a shooting Thursday evening in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

At 6:44, the 23-year-old was shot in his leg and arm in the 1800 block of West 46th Street, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

He later showed up at Stroger Hospital, police said. His condition wasn’t immediately known.

No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigated.
