A man was shot Sunday night in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 29-year-old was exiting his vehicle about 10:15 p.m. in the 700 block of North Harding when a black SUV pulled up and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the right leg and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
