A man was shot Monday morning in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The 35-year-old victim was standing in the 1400 block of North Lawler at 10:30 a.m. when he “heard shots and felt pain,” according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right foot, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.
