A man was wounded in a shooting Saturday night in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

About 9:30 p.m., someone walked up to the 24-year-old and fired shots in the 7800 block of South Morgan Street, according to Chicago police.

He was shot in his left hand and was taken to St. Bernard Hospital where he was in good condition, police said.

Area South detectives were investigating.
