A man was shot early Sunday in the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 20-year-old was standing outside at 2:34 a.m. on the sidewalk in the 2100 block of North Kilbourn when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
