Man shot in Humboldt Park

A man was shot and seriously wounded late Saturday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

Officers responding about 11:05 p.m. to a call of shots fired in the 1100 block of North Rockwell found the 28-year-old with gunshot wounds to the abdomen and left hand, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
