A man was shot early Sunday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 35-year-old was standing outside about 3 a.m. in the 3600 block of West Grand when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the hand, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Norwegian American Hospital, where he was treated and released, police said.
