Man shot in Humboldt Park

A man was shot early Sunday in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood.

The 24-year-old was standing on the sidewalk about 3:20 a.m. in the 1300 block of North Rockwell when someone got out of a white vehicle and fired shots in his direction, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital with gunshot wounds to his left leg and right foot, police said.

The man was found unresponsive in an alley in the 10700 block of South Lowe Avenue, police said.
The man suffered head trauma and was pronounced dead at University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.
