A man was shot in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side Tuesday night.

The 39-year-old was in a parking lot in the 3700 block of West Chicago about 8:45 p.m. when four people walked up to him and opened fire, police said.

He was shot in the left hip and he took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
