Man shot in Kenwood

A man was shot in the Kenwood neighborhood not he South Side early Saturday.

The 19-year-old was walking in the 4500 block of South Drexel about 2:12 a.m. when he heard shots and realized he’d been struck, police said.

He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition with a gunshot wound to the arm, police said.
