A man was shot during an argument early Saturday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The 20-year-old was arguing with someone just after 4 a.m. in the 5700 block of West Washington when the other person took out a handgun and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was treated for a gunshot wound to the left knee at Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
