A man was shot Sunday night in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 20-year-old was standing in an alley at 10:43 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Sawyer when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the right leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
