Man shot in leg in Austin

A man was wounded in a shooting Saturday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 21-year-old told investigators he was standing outside about noon in the 200 block of North Pine when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired at him, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the left thigh and took himself to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
