Man shot in leg in Englewood

A man was shot in the leg Sunday morning in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

The shooting happened at 11:05 a.m. in the 6700 block of South Aberdeen, according to Chicago Police.

The 20-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken in good condition to Holy Cross Hospital, police said.

A police source said the victim is a documented gang member.
