Man shot in Princeton Park

A man was wounded in a shooting Monday evening in the Princeton Park neighborhood on the South Side.

The 21-year-old was walking at 6:06 p.m. in the 9400 block of South Wentworth when people inside a passing vehicle opened fire, according to Chicago police.

He was shot in the arm and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Area South detectives were investigating.
