Man shot in Rosemoor

A man was wounded in a shooting Saturday night in the Rosemoor neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 24-year-old was walking at 7:17 p.m. in the 10500 block of South Edbrooke when someone approached and fired shots, striking him in the knee, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition stabilized, police said.

No one was in custody as Area South detectives investigated the shooting.
