Man shot in South Austin

A 30-year-old man was shot Friday evening in the South Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

He was driving in the 4900 block of West Augusta at 5:27 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a graze wound to the leg and continued driving to West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
