Man shot in South Chicago

A man was shot in the South Chicago neighborhood Friday evening.

The 37-year-old man was shot in the hip in the 8300 block of South Euclid Avenue at 6:18 p.m., police said.

The man showed up at Advocate Trinity Hospital, but his condition was not immediately known.
