A man was shot Thursday afternoon in the South Shore neighborhood.

The shooting happened at 1:40 p.m. in the 1400 block of East 69th Place, according to Chicago Police.

The 24-year-old man was shot in the left thigh and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition, police said.

The circumstances of the shooting weren’t immediately available.
