Man shot in Washington Park

A man was shot Tuesday afternoon in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.

The 18-year-old man was shot in the buttocks at 2:04 p.m. in the 5700 block of South Michigan Avenue, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available.
