A man was shot early Thursday in the West Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.
The 23-year-old was standing outside when he heard shots and felt pain about 2:20 a.m. in the 8700 block of South Princeton Avenue, according to Chicago Police.
He was shot in his right leg and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was in good condition, police said.
He was not cooperating with the investigation, police said.
Area South detectives were investigating.
