Man shot in West Englewood

A man was wounded in a shooting Tuesday night in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 39-year-old was walking on the sidewalk at 9:38 p.m. in the 6000 block of South Paulina when two males walked up and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered gunshot wounds to the thighs and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
