A man was shot on the porch of an East Garfield Park neighborhood home early Sunday on the West Side.

The 26-year-old was outside about 1:10 a.m. in the 3500 block of West Lexington when he heard gunshots and realized he’d been struck in the back, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Another man was shot a block west on Lexington Saturday morning.
