SHARE Man shot to death in Humboldt Park

A man who was fatally shot in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side Monday afternoon has been identified.

About 4:30 p.m., the 22-year-old was shot in the abdomen several times in the 700 block of North Trumbull, police said.

The man, identified as Owen C. Spears, of the 700 block of North St. Louis, was pronounced at the scene at 5 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
