A man was shot Sunday night in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

About 11:35 p.m., the 26-year-old was driving in the 6700 block of South Union when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the back, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
