A man was shot early Tuesday in the Fernwood neighborhood on the Far South Side.

Shortly after 4 a.m., the 40-year-old was driving in the first block of West 103rd Street when someone fired shots, striking him in the right knee, according to Chicago Police.

His condition was stabilized at Roseland Community Hospital, police said.
