A man was shot early Tuesday in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 24-year-old was walking when a male he didn’t know came out of an alley and fired shots at 2:28 a.m. in the 12900 block of South Peoria, according to Chicago police.

He was struck in the leg and was taken to Christ Medical Center where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Area South detectives were investigating.
