A man was wounded early Sunday in a West Side Austin neighborhood drive-by shooting.

About 1 a.m., the 25-year-old was walking on the sidewalk in the 5100 block of West Washington Boulevard when a black vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots, police said.

The man suffered gunshot wounds to the right arm and left leg and was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
