A man was wounded in an Austin neighborhood shooting Monday evening.

About 6 p.m., the 21-year-old was shot in the right arm in the 5900 block of West Madison, police said.

He was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, but his condition was not available, police said.
