Man, 19, shot, wounded as he walks on the South Side

A 19-year-old man was shot in the butt by someone driving by as he walked around 7:45 p.m. Saturday in the 8300 block of South Dante in Avalon Park on the South Side, according to the police, who said he was being treated at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
