A man was shot Sunday evening in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

About 6:45 p.m., the 21-year-old was in the 3800 block of West Gladys when he heard gunshots and realized he’d been shot in his left thigh, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area North detectives were investigating the shooting.
