A man was wounded early Sunday in an East Side neighborhood shooting on the Far South Side.

The 29-year-old was walking on the sidewalk at 1:58 a.m. in the 10800 block of South Avenue H when another male approached and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The victim was shot in the leg, and his condition was stabilized at Trinity Hospital, police said.
