A man was shot Sunday evening in the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 25-year-old was in a vehicle about 5:15 p.m. in the 4300 block of West North Avenue when another male walked up and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He showed up at Norwegian American Hospital with a gunshot wound to his back, police said. He was then taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
