A 21-year-old man was shot early Monday in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

He was walking about 12:20 a.m. in an alley in the 1300 block of South Millard when someone in a dark-colored car shot him in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
