A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Sunday morning in the South Shore neighborhood.

At 10:46 a.m., the 20-year-old was standing in the 6800 block of South Ridgeland when a white vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired shots, striking him in the upper left thigh, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

No one was in custody as Area South detectives investigated the shooting.
