WASHINGTON — GOP vice presidential nominee Mike Pence hits Chicago’s Loop on Tuesday for a megafundraiser to bolster the Trump-Pence ticket and the Republican National Committee.

Pence, the Indiana governor, is making his first Chicago fundraising appearance since GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump tapped him to be his running mate. Trump was in Chicago to raise money on July 12.

The jumbo donors get a dinner, reception and photo op; with the price range for a dinner perk package from $10,800 to $250,000, according to an invitation, obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times,

The reception-only price is $1,000 for an individual and $2,700 for one guest to attend the reception and get a photo op.

The invite was issued under the names of RNC chair Reince Priebus; Trump-Pence Victory National Finance Chair Lewis Eisenberg; Robert Grand, Trump-Pence Victory National Finance Co-Chair; Dan Dumezich, the Trump-Pence Victory Indiana Finance Co-Chair and Ron Gidwitz, Trump-Pence Victory Illinois Finance Chair.

Trump Victory is a joint fundraising committee created by the Trump for President committee, the RNC, and 11 state GOP parties — not including Illinois or Indiana.

While Trump is running behind Democrat Hillary Clinton in Illinois, the Chicago area is home to major GOP donors.
