No one was injured in a six-vehicle crash on I-80 in southwest suburban Joliet during Tuesday’s morning rush.

The crash happened due to heavy traffic exiting the ramp to Houbolt Avenue from I-80 at 7:44 a.m., according to Illinois State Police.

One right westbound lane was closed just east of Houbolt Avenue after the crash, but has since reopened, police said.

No injuries were reported.
